Visitors on Sunday

This morning we had several visitors. Janos’ and Irin’s son Laszlo has started attending regularly, and Irin’s sister has come on several Sundays recently. Vanda and Arnold were here with us as well. Arnold had to fly back to the Netherlands this afternoon to go back to work on Monday, but Vanda will be here a couple more weeks to make arrangements for their wedding ceremony in April.

Ice on the Danube

Hungary has had some very cold weather lately. The temperature dropped down to -7 degrees Farenheit a few nights ago. It is not as cold now, but there is still ice on the river in Budapest.

Washing Machine Troubles

We had no washing machine for 10 days after our old one broke down, so we are very behind on our laundry! It will take a while to catch up since our European washing machine takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to wash one load of clothes.

Brno Study

On January 21st our family attended a Bible study in Brno, Czech Republic. Bill taught two lessons on „Bible Fathers.” Nancy taught a class for the younger children on Daniel. The morning study was from 10:30 until 12:00. We took an hour break for lunch, and the study resumed around 1:00. It ended at 2:45 so that people could catch their trains. The study was attended by Christians from seven churches from three countries.

Jan, a Czech Christian, translated for Bill.

Nancy and Kristina, a Slovak Christian, had children in their class from the ages 5-10.
